Terms of Service

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between JOBLINK LTD, a company registered in Cyprus with its registered office at Nikou Psara 48, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus ("Work Cyprus", "we", "us"), and any individual using our website and recruitment services ("you", "candidate"). By using our website or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Work Cyprus provides free-of-charge job placement and recruitment services, connecting candidates with verified hotels and restaurants in Cyprus. Our services include: job matching based on your preferences and qualifications, assistance with the application process, pre-departure information and guidance, and on-site coordination in Cyprus. We act as an intermediary between candidates and employers. We are not a temporary employment agency.

3. No Upfront Fees β€” €150 Service Fee

Work Cyprus does not request any upfront payments from candidates. We do not charge any placement, registration, interview or application fees in advance.

After you start working, a one-off service fee of €150 is deducted from your first salary. This fee covers: airport pickup in Cyprus, accommodation assistance, on-site coordination and support during your first period. The fee is transparently stated in your offer before you start and you agree to it by accepting the offer.

No other fees are charged to candidates. If anyone requests any other payment on behalf of Work Cyprus, please report it immediately to hello@workcyprus.eu.

4. Eligibility

Our services are available to individuals who are: (a) at least 18 years of age; (b) citizens of the European Union, European Economic Area, or otherwise legally authorised to work in the Republic of Cyprus; (c) able to provide accurate and truthful information about their identity and qualifications.

5. Candidate Obligations

By using our services, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, complete and up-to-date personal information; (b) inform us promptly of any changes to your availability, contact details, or other relevant circumstances; (c) attend agreed interviews, whether in-person or online; (d) not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity; (e) comply with the terms and conditions of any employer you are placed with; (f) behave professionally during the recruitment process and employment.

6. Our Obligations

We commit to: (a) providing accurate information about available positions; (b) matching candidates with positions based on their stated preferences and qualifications; (c) protecting your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy; (d) acting in good faith and treating all candidates fairly. We do not guarantee placement in any specific position or that any position will be available.

7. Employment Relationship

Work Cyprus is not a party to any employment contract. The employment contract is concluded directly between you and the employer. The employer is solely responsible for: wages, working conditions, accommodation (if offered), working hours, and all obligations arising from Cypriot employment law. We recommend that you review all terms of your employment contract carefully before signing.

8. Limitation of Liability

Work Cyprus provides recruitment facilitation services only. We are not liable for: (a) actions, omissions, or conditions imposed by employers; (b) the accuracy of information provided by employers; (c) disputes between you and your employer; (d) any loss or damage arising from your employment or travel to Cyprus, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Our total liability to you, to the extent permitted by law, shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you (which is zero, as our services are free).

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the workcyprus.eu website β€” including text, graphics, logos, images, and software β€” is the property of JOBLINK LTD or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, or otherwise use our content without prior written permission.

10. Website Use

You agree not to: (a) use our website for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; (c) submit false, misleading, or spam content; (d) use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from our website without permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue our services to any candidate who violates these Terms, provides false information, or engages in conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to our business or reputation. You may stop using our services at any time by notifying us at hello@workcyprus.eu.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Famagusta District, Cyprus.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on this page with the new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
