Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data (Art. 17 β "right to be forgotten"). This page explains how you can exercise this right with Work Cyprus, including data obtained through Facebook Login.
You can request data deletion by: (a) sending an email to hello@workcyprus.eu with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" β please include the name and email address associated with your account so we can identify your data; (b) sending a written request to: JOBLINK LTD, Nikou Psara 48, 5280 Paralimni, Cyprus.
Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will permanently delete all personal data we hold about you, including: your name, email address, phone number, quiz answers, position preferences, and any other data you submitted through our website, forms, or Facebook Login.
In certain cases, we may be required by law to retain some data (e.g. records necessary for tax, accounting, or legal obligations). If this applies, we will inform you of the specific data retained and the legal basis for retention.
If your data has been shared with partner employers as part of the recruitment process, we will notify them of your deletion request. Please note that employers are independent data controllers and may have their own retention obligations.
If you used Facebook Login to interact with Work Cyprus, your deletion request covers all data we received from Facebook. To manage data that Facebook holds about you, visit your Facebook settings at facebook.com/settings.
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receipt. If we need additional time due to the complexity of the request, we will notify you within the initial 30-day period. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. We may ask you to confirm your email address or provide other identifying information.
